History

Isenhower Cellars was founded in 1999 by Brett and Denise Isenhower to make precise, expressive wines that reflect place and vintage. After careers in pharmacy and business, they chose Walla Walla for its small-town charm and wide-open wine culture — a region where small producers can innovate and share.

From the beginning, the winery was built around family ownership, disciplined craft, and thoughtful grape sourcing. Brett focuses on careful vineyard selection and minimalist winemaking, while Denise builds a business that supports consistency, operational excellence, and an engaging customer experience.

Isenhower Cellars remains 100% husband-and-wife owned and operated, producing 2200 cases annually.
