Upland Vineyard is located wholly with in the Snipes Mountain AVA.  The soils at Upland are ancient Columbia Riverbed soils that have been "pushed up" over the past 10,000 years.  Isenhower Cellars purchases Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon (planted in 1973) and Viognier from Upland.
